Hong Kong Federation of Students to Meet Li Keqiang?
It has been 38 days for Hong Kong universal suffrage
occupation movement.
The stalemate between the Government and the protesters
still hasn’t been resolved.
Beijing authorities have no positive response to Hong Kong
people’s true universal suffrage aspiration.
HKFS will send 5 members to the APEC summit to request
the Chinese Communist Party leaders face the students
and respond by withdrawing the fake universal suffrage
resolution of the National People’s Congress.
According to a Hong Kong Apple Daily report, the candidates
going to Beijing have been chosen.
However, based on security issues, the final list needs to be
confirmed.
According to the report, the HKFS temporarily locked the
CCP Premier Li Keqiang or NPC Standing Committee
members to meet.
The report says the HKFS believes if the student
representatives are denied entry by Beijing authorities, it is
equal to treating Hong Kong people as enemies.
Hong Kong Journalists Association (HKJA) Questioned TVB
News Director’s Relocation
November 3, HKJA issued a statement on its official website
to express regret and question the TVB Assistant Director
about He Yongkang’s relocation.
They think it’s to square accounts after the autumn harvest.
He Yongkang reported seven police pulled protesters to a
dark corner to beat and kick them.
Recently, he was transferred from the front line to the back office
as chief of data collection staff.
HKJS worried He Yongkang’s relocation is not a general
personnel transfer.
HKJS hoped the TVB management won’t hurt employees and
press freedom when dealing with personnel issues.
Jiangsu Petitioner Demands Dialogue by Climbing the High
Tower in Beijing
Recently, Beijing authorities tried harder to clear national
petitioners in Beijing due to the upcoming APEC meeting.
However, November 3, a Jiangsu petitioner in Beijing climbed
a construction site tower to protest corruption and demand
dialogue with officials.
According to the mainland 64 Skynet report, at about 15:00 on
Nov 3rd, a Jiangsu petitioner climbed a high tower at construction
site facing Taoran building and threatened to jump.
Several Jiangsuu petitioners shouted “down with Jiangsu
corruption”.
It’s said the other petitioners called the Beijing Mayor to get
help for a long time; but nobody came.
