Hong Kong Media Discloses Bo Xilai & Zhou Yongkang's
Coup.Zhou Might Face Death Penalty?

Since Zhou Yongkang, former member of the Politburo
Standing committee and former Head of the Political
and Law Commission of CCP, was formerly announced
being investigated for his links to further crimes
It has been said that Zhou Yongkang and Bo Xilai formed
a clique and premeditated usurpation,
but the CCP official media have kept silent.

Surprisingly, the pro-CCP Hong Kong media, "Phoenix Weekly",
recently disclosed the inside news.
Stating Zhou Yongkang and Bo Xilai had built political alliances
whilst attempting to launch a coup.

Recently, the latest issue of "Phoenix Weekly" published
its cover story, " CCP Declares War on Six Indictments
of Zhou Yongkang".

Included in the charges, "seriously breaching CCP discipline,"
"leaking state secrets", "huge bribes",
"money and sex trade" etc.

The report confirms the saying that Zhou Yongkang once
collaborated with former Politburo member
and Chongqing CCP Head Bo Xilai.

The report reveals that Zhou Yongkang and Bo Xilai
secretly talked in Chongqing City.
The main topic of discussion was said to be about negating
former CCP leader Deng Xiaoping and his "theory & practice."
of "reform & opening".

The article says that through this secret meeting,
both of them shared the same political stance and values,
expressing their wish to launch "a big fight".

The report also says that if these details are true,
then this is a private conspiracy,
and absolutely is not allowed by the political,
organisational discipline of the CCP.

Political Commentator Tang Jingyuan:
"This report says that Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang
conspired to 'Deny Deng Xiaoping's guideline'.

So what sort of problems does this indicate?

We all know, the so-called CCP's previous guideline (conflict),
have always been the synonymous rule to power,
and this has always been the case in the history of the CCP.

So this report is equal to publicly acknowledging
the coup plan and creeds led by Bo Xilai and Zhou Yongkang."

The article on "Phoenix Weekly" also reveals that,
after the secret talk, Zhou Yongkang did not
report Bo Xilai's words to the Central Committee of CCP,
even after he returned to Beijing, he told his "iron-pole followers":
"We want to have a 'major cause'.

A person such as Bo Xilai can be exploited,
because he can help criminals move forward.
The report believes that such an act of privately building
a "political alliance", is "obviously violating
the CCP constitution."

Some media reported, that the use of the "iron-pole followers",
implies some CCP officials worked closely
with Zhou Yongkang, who all participated in the interest group
of the political alliance led by Zhou and Bo.

The above article, called "top-secret" news, was "exclusively
released" by the "Phoenix Weekly".
It was at the time when Zhou Yongkang's case was close to
holding its judicial hearing, and was quickly reprinted
among all major news portals in Mainland China.

This forces the public to speculate whether the news is at the
behest of and manipulated by the authorities.

Mr Zhang Jian is an independent commentator
and Chinese social problem researcher in America.
"I think now the official media are able to
report these criminal details of Zhou Yongkang's case,
especially the differences in the details of the crime
before and after Zhou Yongkang was caught,
particularly alluding to a coup, in fact, I believe that
the power fight within the CCP should escalate.
The CCP may also ruin the faction of Zhou Yongkang
without losing. Because it is no small thing
when it involves a coup.

Then there is another possibility. The spearhead point
will be aimed at Jiang Zeming again."

In addition, among all charges of Zhou, the most speculative
charge by the public, is "disclosing secrets of CCP and state".
In this regard, "Phoenix Weekly" says that the leaked details "
might include Zhou Yongkang, without the approval
of the CCP organisation, informed his factional cronies
the confidential personnel arrangements of the 18th
Plenary Session of the CCP, and in accordance with this
they plotted to arrange their own personnel".
In addition, the saying "speculated by the public opinion"
is also reported in the article -
Zhou Yongkang might have been involved in disclosing news
to Bo Xilai of Wang Lijun defecting to the United States
Consulate in Chengdu.

The article quotes a report from the BBC, citing news from
the Sunday Times Newspaper, that western diplomatic
officials had disclosed:
"Zhou Yongkang regularly met with the heads of foreign
intelligence agencies, but such meetings had never
publicly been announced."
In addition, "the confidential information disclosed by Zhou
Yongkang was eagerly awaited by western diplomats."

"The latest" crime revealed of Zhou Yongkang and Bo Xilai
by the media, increases speculation from the public,
that Zhou is likely to be sentenced to death.

Tang Jingyuan: "From these indications, Zhou and Bo's case
have essentially gotten rid of the frame of only investigating
the economic terms, and they are further upgraded to a
conclusion of "coup conspiracy group".
This shows that a group of key officials , face the likelihood
of harsh punishment.
There is no doubt that a lot of officials will experience different
charges, different punishment and different extents of punishment
from what the previous officials had before."

Mr Zhang Jian pointed out, that according to the factual crimes
committed by Zhou Yongkang, even if he is punished
by death penalty, his death deserves no pity.

Whether Xi Jinping is able to respond to the people's desires
and take such a step, people are watching for this.
