【新唐人2011年12月15日讯】又是一起校车事故,又有15个孩子失去了生命。但是丰县当地政府处理事故的做法却备受舆论质疑。讽刺的是,目前正是在丰县官方宣布的“校车专项整治阶段”。媒体警告说,甘肃校车惨剧引发的各地大排查中,可能不仅仅只是丰县走了过场。

江苏省徐州市丰县人民政府13号上午召开新闻发布会,警方表示,12号发生侧翻事故的校车为少林牌SLG6型,上个月曾因没有办理校车登记手续一度被停运。另外,当事司机洪旭当天临时顶替请假的驾驶员开车,洪旭持有的是B2驾驶证,而不是可以驾驶校车的A1驾驶证。警方初步认定司机洪旭对这次事件负有全责,已经将他拘留。

新闻发布会全程仅20分钟,而且不允许记者发问。香港《东方日报》14号还披露,当局在医院派便衣人员阻止外地媒体采访、监控家长,又在五星级酒店开房招待中央及本省媒体。官方拒绝公开死者名单,有官员甚至说数字已经上报中央,列为机密,不能随便公开。

丰县当局如此处理手法受到舆论质疑。特别是在13号凌晨0点14分,也就是事故发生后6个多小时,丰县一名负责宣传的官员就表示:“事发后镇领导赶赴现场,组成工作组安抚学生家属,目前他们情绪已稳定。”被网民炮轰凉薄,冷血。网友说目前都是计划生育,家家只有一个孩子:“孩子死了不足6小时,家属就稳定了?”

事实上,事发后接收受伤学生的医院被封锁,家长被迫在院外守候,有些人到了13号仍然不知道孩子下落,情绪激动。当局为防止发生群体事件派大量官员监控家长。

安徽《市场星报》14号也说,家长在丰县人民医院门口等候了十几个小时,也没能见到孩子一面。同时警方在医院急诊大楼南面已经拉起了警戒线,医院医生表示,不便透露救治学生的病情。

同时,丰县官方13号通报的伤亡人数由于和之前传出的差距太大,也遭到质疑。

《东方日报》14号发表《官方涉瞒报江苏校巴惨剧》,报导说,在校车堕河惨剧发生后,曾传出车上有71名小学生,河边躺满尸体,从12号晚间起,死亡人数在内地媒体的报导中,不断减少,从40多人,减少到37人,到20多人,到13号丰县政府举行记者会公布为15人死亡,8人重伤。

具有讽刺意味的是,目前正处在丰县校车专项整治阶段。丰县交通运输局提出,11月20号至年底,要对重大安全隐患坚持“零容忍”、“零懈怠”。

《天府早报》14号说,很显然,当地有关部门排查过程并没有落到实处。面对40多或15个学生付出的生命代价,相关责任人要如何承担责任?更值得警惕的是,甘肃校车惨剧引发的各地大排查中,可能不仅仅是丰县走了过场。

就在丰县传出事故的同一天,广东佛山顺德乐从镇,也发生一起货车与校车相撞事故,37名小学生受伤,其中一人因脑出血被送入重症监护室。而13号上午,河南驻马店市一辆满载学生的大巴车被一辆越过“双黄线”的重型自卸货车撞上,两名学生当场死亡,20多人受伤。被媒体曝光的事故数据统计,今年中国各地相继发生的校车事故,已造成上百名学生伤亡。

Feng County Accused of Superficial Investigation into
School Bus Quality

Another school bus tragedy caused the death of 15 children.

Feng Country government's treatment of this incident was
heavily doubted by the public.
The irony is, Feng county is currently going through an
initiative to improve school bus safety.
Media have warned that during the national school bus
investigation,
which was initiated after the tragedy in Gangsu, Feng County,
might not be the only one that is going through the motions.

The local government of Feng Country in Xuzhou, Jiangsu
Province held a press conference on 13th Dec.
The police claim that the school bus that rolled over
on 12th Dec was a Shaolin SLG5 model.
The bus was already suspended last month for not having
proper registration.
In addition, the driver Hong Xu was substituting for the normal
driver that day without having a qualified driver's license.
Police claim that Hong is fully responsible for the tragedy.

The entire press conference lasted for only 20 minutes and
reporters were not allowed to ask questions.
Hong Kong's Oriental Daily revealed, plain-clothed police
officers were deployed at the hospital to stop interviews from media and victims' families.
National and state level media were treated at a five star hotel.
Officials refused to reveal the list of victims, claiming that the information is classified.

Feng Country's treatment methods drew great doubts.
On 13th Dec, at 12:14AM, 6 hours after the incident, a propaganda official said,
"officials went to the scene right after the accident to comfort
victims' families, the families are emotionally stable now."
This statement was bombarded by netizens.
A netizen said, each family only has one child,
"their child died less than 6 hours ago,
how can the family be emotionally stable?"

In reality, the hospital where the students were taken to was
locked down, the families had to wait outside.
Some parents still didn't know the where abouts of their child
on the 13th Dec and were very emotional.
To stop possible riots, a large number of officials were sent to
monitor and control the victims' families.

Anhui's Market Star News wrote on 14th Dec, parents waited
in front of Feng Country People's hospital for 10 or more hours and still haven't seen their child.
Police also established a security barrier around the south
perimeter of the hospital.
The doctor said he is not allowed to reveal the conditions of
the children.

At the same time, the official number of deaths is very
different from the initial report, which also caused doubts.

According to an article published by the Oriental Daily,
some said there were 71 children on the school bus.
After the accident, there were dead bodies
all along the river bank.
Since the night of Dec 12, the number of deaths reported kept
decreasing, from 40 something to 37, to 20 something to the officially announced number of 15 deaths, 8 seriously injured.

The irony is, Feng County is currently running an initiative to
improve school bus safety.
Feng County transportation bureau proposed a zero tolerance
policy on major accidents.

Tian Fu Morning reported on 14th Dec, it is very apparent,
that the safety checks weren't actually implemented.
Facing the lives of 40 or more or 15 students, who should
take responsibility?
What's even more alarming is, regarding the nation wide
safety checks initiated after the Gangsu school tragedy,
Feng Country might not be the only one
that's going through the motions.

On the same day of the Feng Country accident, another
school bus crash happened in Fushang, Guangdong,
injuring 37 elementary school students,
one was in a serious condition due to bleeding in the brain.
On 13th Dec, in Zhumadian, Henan province,
a bus carrying students crossed over the double yellow lines
and crashed into another truck, causing two deaths,
and more than 20 injuries.
Summing up the statistics, school bus accidents this year
have already caused the deaths of more than 100 students.
