Disguised visit in Beijing: the Minister of Public Security is on Guard

After the crash and bombings at Tiananmen in Beijing,
Guo Shengkun, the CCP Minister of Public Security,
conducted a disguised nighttime visit
the day before yesterday.
He visited the police stations and subway stations
close to Tiananmen.
He also visited the Tongzhou checkpoint,
which is a key pass to Beijing.
The petitioners in Beijing told our station reporter that there
have been more rogue security contractors recently.
They are illegally intercepting and detaining petitioners.
There are also many police guards staying at the bus station.

According to reports, Guo conducted a spot check
at the Fuyoujie police station, the Xicheng District Branch
of Beijing Public Security Bureau around 8 o'clock
in the evening.
He dressed in civilian clothes
and did not mention he was coming.
The Fuyoujie police station is located in the “heart”
of Beijing.
There are more than 200 police officers working there who
are responsible for the safety of Zhongnanhai and its surrounding area.

Later, Guo Shengkun visited the Tiananmen area on foot.
He also took the subway and talked with the passengers.
He also asked the security personnel in detail about training
and equipment usage issues.

The CCP is going the launching the third plenary session
of the 18th CCP national congress.
The crash and bombings at Tiananmen shocked
the central CCP.
Guo Shengkun asked the police to “fill leaks” and guarantee
the safety of the upcoming third plenary session.

After the crash bombings, Guo Jinlong, the secretary
municipal committee of the CCP in Beijing, emphasized
to place counter-terrorism efforts within
the stability maintenance system.
It shows that the petitioners in Beijing could be seen
as terrorists.

Wang Yuping, a petitioner in Beijing told NTDTV that there
are police guarding bus doors at Beijing South Railway Station.
The street defense teams also began to wear red arm bands
while on duty.

Wang Yuping: “Yesterday, I found that there were police
guarding the bus door, just like the ticket sellers.
When we took Bus No. 20, police stayed at the bus door.
They kept watch over us.”

Zhang Xiuyun, another petitioner in Beijing, also said that
the rogue security contractors are ready to bring her back to her hometown.

Zhang Xiuyun: “Local governments felt very nervous about
stability maintenance.
Now I am leaving the 6th ring road (Beijing has six beltways,
called ring roads, the sixth is the furthest away from the city.)
There are intercepted and detained petitioners in Beijing.

They will catch me if they find me.
I could not leave inside the 6th ring road.
The police from my hometown also contacted me
and asked me to go back.”

Reuters in the UK also reported that an armed police detained
a female protester near the main entrance
of the Forbidden City on Oct. 29th.

An older lady with white hair intended to redress grievances
with flyers, but was taken to the ground by an armed officer.

Petitioner in Beijing: “It reflects the inevitable existence
of this regime.
This is neither the first case, nor the last one.

Because of this system, there will be a series of cases
like this.”

The authorities claimed that the Tiananmen bombing was
a terrorist attack.
However, petitioners expressed empathy to those involved
in the case.
They think this case is caused by the repression
of Chinese authorities.

Zhang Xiuyun: “If it is true, I mean that two people took
their mothers and crashed into Tiananmen, it must be caused
by the repression of the government.

If there is no pressure, who would be willing to die?
The years of injustice could not be solved.
There is no fair justice.
Really, I feel that I just begged for my life.
In this environment, I have to live.”

Jia Fengqin, a petitioner in Beijing: “I think they must have
some problems without a fair solution.
They were pushed that way.
People won't do such things without a reason.”

Wall Street Journal published an article by Rebiya Kadeer,
the chairman of World Uyghur Congress on November 5.
The article points out that the allegations of the so-called
“terrorist attacks” by the CCP are not credible.
This paper presented many doubts, including why there
is an unburned banner above the car
and why the “terrorist” took the wife and mother along.

The article said that Chinese officials have a strong motive
to lie about what really happened.
The CCP needs to incite the Han Chinese
to hate the Uyghur minority.
Then the CCP could cover up the failure of Xinjiang policies.

Wang Fenxian: “To do such a thing with mother and wife?
I think it is questionable.
He could go to work for justice, but he will not bring
his mother.
Even if he has a big injustice case, he go by himself
without taking his mother.”

Kadeer said in the article that the harmonious relationship
between Han Chinese and Uyghurs will threaten
the CCP's monopoly on power.

It will contravene the government's
“divide and rule” strategy.
The Beijing authorities want to prove that suppressing
the Uyghurs is for the protection and the safety
of the Han Chinese by demonizing the Uyghurs
as terrorists or criminals.
Rebiya Kadeer thinks that the CCP is the enemy
of both the Uyghurs and the Han Chinese.
