中共“两会”前夕,“六四”天安门屠杀事件中遇难者的亲属---天安门母亲,发表公开信,要求把“六四”问题提到“两会”上讨论,正视历史真相。

这封题为《你们不提“六四”,你们流失了甚么?流失了道义,流失了良知》的公开信,依然坚持“天安门母亲”群体要求真相、赔偿、问责这三项诉求。

信中说:“今年正好遇上‘六四’大屠杀二十五周年,‘天安门母亲’将打起精神,拭目以待,看看这一届人大代表和政协委员将有何作为,能否弥补以往的错失。”

美报告指中国人权形势严峻

美国国务院2月27号公布了《2013年度国别人权报告》。报告关于中国的部分,记录了大量的官方人员针对中国公民个人和集体的违反人权案例。

报告说,官员们变本加厉的对人权活动人士的家人和助手采取骚扰、恫吓和迫害等手段,进行报复。一些当局认为的敏感人士仍然面临集会、宗教和旅行自由方面的严格限制。当局还采取绑架等非法措施,来阻止公开表达独立思想。

夏业良:中共向美国大学派遣“间谍”

前“北大”教授夏业良,2月27号对媒体表示,中共正在向美国的大学派遣“间谍”,他敦促美国在与中国展开学术交流时,要小心谨慎。

据《法新社》报导,曾经在多所美国大学做过访问学者的夏业良说,中共向美国派遣的访问学者中,有些人实际上是间谍,打着学术交流的幌子,从事监视活动。

刘进图伤势好转港记者签名请愿

遭刀手袭击的香港《明报》前总编辑刘进图,目前伤势好转,医生已经把他的病情从危险下调为严重,并解除了呼吸道插管急救。

香港记者团体组成了“新闻界反暴力联席”,2月27号展开街头签名联署活动,要求警方尽快破案,并呼吁港人反对暴力。

同时,有关各方正在筹备星期天举行的支持新闻自由游行。

Tiananmen Mothers Send Open Letter to The Two Sessions

Before the Two Sessions, the June 4 Tiananmen Massacre
victims' relatives, the Tiananmen Mothers published an open
letter requesting a discussion of the June 4 problem at the
Two Sessions and face up to the historical truth.

The open letter said: "What do you lose without discussing
June 4? You lose morals and conscience."
We are still insisting on three demands including "truth,
compensation and accountability" for the Tiananmen Mothers.

The letter also said: "It is the 25 anniversary of the June 4
massacre.
Tiananmen Mothers will cheer if people representatives and
National committee members can make up past mistakes."

US Reports That China's Human Rights Situation is Severe

On February 27, The U.S. State Department published the
2013 Country Reports on Human Rights.
The report recorded a large number of Chinese officials who
committed human rights abuses against its individual or
collective citizens in China.

The report said that officials acted out revenge attacks by
intensifying harassment, intimidation and persecution on
activists' families and aides.

Some sensitive people still face severe restrictions on assembly,
religion and travel.

The authorities prevented public expression of independent
thought by kidnapping and other illegal ways.

Xia Yeliang: Chinese Communist Pary Dispatches Spies
to American Universities


On February 27, Former Peking University professor Xia
Yeliang told the media that the Chinese Communist Party
(CCP) are sending spies to U.S. universities.

He urged the United States to be careful in academic
exchanges with China.

According to an AFP report, the visiting Chinese scholar Xia
Yeliang said some scholars are spies from China to the U.S.
to engage in surveillance activities disguised as students.

Lau Chun Has Improved. Hong Kong Reporters Sign Petition

The attacked Hong Kong "Ming Pao" former chief editor Lau
Chun has improved in hospital.
Doctors have taken away his airway intubation and changed
his status from in danger to serious.

Hong Kong reporters formed a joint anti-violence campaign.

On February 27, they launched a joint signature campaign on
the streets to request the police to solve the case as soon as
possible, and called people stand to against the violence.

Meanwhile, the relevant parties are preparing for the Sunday
parade to support press freedom.
