Kunming Bloodshed Event Blocked, Weibo VIP's warned, Netizens Arrested.

Since the bloodshed event at Kunming Railway Station of Yunnan Province on March 1, all sorts of questioning and requirements for publishing the truth of the event, have increasingly been raised .Aiming to suppress the response, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)are warning Weibo VIP 's and ordinary netizens,
from voicing an opinion which would otherwise appear disharmonious to CCP 's interests. Failing to abide by CCP 's request, the threat of punishment
will prevail.According to official news, at present 45 netizens have been
arrested with the crime of "disseminating rumours".Such a tough crackdown on the freedom of Internet speech triggers a strong discontented response.

According to the official Weibo of Internet Security Department of Beijing Public Security Bureau (PSB),the public figures who have been publicly reported by the netizens,"should be responsible for their words and actions", otherwise
they will be "punished according to the law".

According to a UK-based Reuters report, although the Internet police of Beijing PSB did not mention the specific "reported” public figures, the attached snapshots on Weibo pages of a media professional Mr Luo Changping,"Weibo VIP" Mr Li Chengpeng and "writer Tianyou",implies of the warned targets.

At the time of Kunming Event, Li Chengpeng says on his Weibo:
"I am shocked, it is all so very strange. All of a sudden mobs appeared from nowhere, attacking civilians. What is the intent and conspiracy behind all of this? I have to cite the saying of a Kunming journalist, 'we have never been told what 's happening. We are only allowed to have cruel hatred and terror,
to live in a confused state, and to die in mirky circumstances."

Internet writer Tianyou questions:"I am very sad with which the slaughtering voice came, of angry mobs at the Kunming event. Why did they set about killing others? Do you know the reason? In my opinion, it is to enforce stability and take revenge, using violence against violence,it is not a good way.

To find the origin of where the hatred came, that is the righteous way of resolving the conflict. "

The former Editor of Hebei People 's Radio Broadcast Station Zhu Xinxin:
"These Weibo VIPs just expressed their opinions, reminding the public to make a retrospection of the event,to think for themselves and further explore the complicated and in-depth reasons the event was triggered in the first place.
This is to remind the public of seeing not only the surface of the seeming phenomenon, but also the origin of the event. The key issue here, is the authorities fear any group criticising their wrong doings,of how they deal with minority ethnic groups, and they forbid any form of retrospection or public opinion."

In addition to these Weibo VIPs,common netizens are also unexceptional.
On the same day of the warnings being sent out by Beijing Internet police,
the official Weibo of the Special Execution Office of the so called "Crackdown on Four Blacks and Four Crimes" of the Public Security Ministry, also issued the news, since the Kunming Event, 45 ntetizens have been punished with administrative detention, the crimes being, "fabricating and disseminating rumours on the Internet,"and "Intentionally producing panic amongst the masses
and disturbing social order."

In addition, according to reports of Radio Free Asia,

Kunming residents and residents elsewhere, netizens are required by the local authorities,to not "speak out of turn" and to also not accept any foreign media 's interview.Multiple Kunming residents and appealers were required to meet
local public security departments or company bosses, due to the mentioning of the "Kunming Event" during interviews.

Zhu Xinxin: "Since such a terrorist type event has occurred, the authorities now fear people will express their indignation. They fear criticism of their official policies of minority ethnic groups via this opportunity.More importantly, this occurred during the period of the NPC & CPPCC sessions. So the authorities are keen to produce a fake so-called stable status. Then, once established, the authorities attempt to crackdown on speeches in this respect, hence controlling all such speeches contained within their very own permitted scope."

The tough response of the authorities were quickly criticised and accused by many. The social comments all agree on one thing, that the harsh control of the CCP on free speech, will only trigger the converse reactions and emotions of the people.

Zhu Xinxin: "Such a response from the CCP is very mean, which actually intensifies the social conflict.this will create non-other than the enemies towards the state. As a matter of fact, the CCP have always performed
this way: only permitting themselves the leading role of gangsters, acting absurdly and forbidding criticism and rebellion of the people. The CCP are over-confident with their tyranny and violence.Actually the CCP promoted the social rebellion in a violent way."

The netizens complained, it was because of the disclosing of any further truths of the event, which then produced all sorts of second guessing and comments on the Internet. If the official media tells the truth, how could it
be possible to produce any so-called "rumours"?

Zhu Xinxin points out, if the real voice of a society could not be expressed,
then the decision-makers will be deceived by the false social reports and opinions, hence leading to decision making errors due to the inability
to have any correct verdicts. Therefore the CCP 's oppression upon the freedom of speech, will deserve non-other than the evil punishment by the way of their own making.
