Criticism of Western Morality: Accelerating the Demise of the CCP

The CCP Central Organization Department recently issued
a high-profile notice criticizing constitutional democracy
and universal values.

It also warned officials at all levels to prevent a loss
of bearings because of an uproar regarding "Western
constitutionalist democracy" and "universal values,"
so as to not follow the Western moral values.

However, three years ago, the world has regarded
Communism, terrorism and Nazism as the three
"common enemies of mankind."

Commentary has also indicated that the CCP putting
itself and the entire Chinese population on the hostile side
of the world is tantamount to accelerating its extinction.

China's media reported that the Central Organization
Department recently issued the "Notice Concerning
Strengthening Education on Ideals, Convictions and Moral
Conduct in Cadre Education and Training."

It demands that all localities and all departments strengthen
education of ideals, convictions and moral conduct, as well as
guide and assist cadres to continuously persist in Communist
ideals and faith in socialism with Chinese characteristics.

The "notice" also demanded officials at all levels prevent
loss of direction because of uproar regarding "Western
democracy," "universal values," "civil society," etc.
and becoming the "followers" of the Western moral values.

Li Yuanhua, Australian-based former history professor
from China, said that Western moral values are the norms
that people should comply with –society's morality,
respect democracy, equality and human rights,
which are the universal values that all the people
in the world should observe.

Li Yuanhua: "Today all CCP officials, including those who
issued that notice, have lost their belief in communism
and have become the ones who are only keen
on making money.

As they always want to make money, Western democratic
society and universal values naturally become something
that they hate.

To maintain the so-called communist totalitarian system,
they thus continue to use the lies they employed in the past
to deceive themselves and others."

Li Yuanhua pointed out the fact that the CCP promotes what
it doesn't believe in is simply because it wants to maintain
its power.

That is, as long as the CCP rules China, they can continue
with corruption and immorality, and do whatever they want.

This notice has also aroused a lot of doubt and ridicule
by netizens on the Internet.

Some netizens questioned, "Do Western moral values include
sharing property, sharing wives and adultery among officials?"

Other netizens ridicule, "Are molesting young girls
and sharing a mistress also imported from the West?"

Still others wonder, as many Chinese officials' children
and other family members emigrate to the West,
and their children receive Western education,
what are their values?

Internet user "Bafei-Rabbit" asked, "As all corrupt officials
were reviewed and promoted by the Central Organization
Department, what kind of responsibility should the Central
Organization Departments take?

The entire Chinese population should arraign
the Central Organization Department in this regard."

Another netizen by the name of "Suiyuansuwei Shen Hua"
criticized, "It turned out that the reason for the prevalence
of adultery, abuse of power, bribery for promotion,
corruption, naked officials, etc. among officials is because
they are affected by Western moral values!"

Su Ming, former Chinese professor of history at the Peking
University, said that it is disgusting and ridiculous
to see the CCP issue such a notice.

Su Ming: "I always think morality, dignity, spirit
and sentiment are something noble.

But the CCP has never had such noble qualities.
Why?

The answer is very simple, as the CCP was founded
by a group of wicked bandits."

Su Ming further pointed out that when the CCP first illegally
seized power, it attacked local elites and looted foreign firms.

After taking power, it deluded people by allowing farmers
to resort to violence and with the illusion of Marxism.

Even today, corruption is still prevalent.

Openly looting people's real estate and massacring civilians
still takes place.

Su Ming: "After the world regarded Communism,
terrorism and Nazism as the three 'common enemies
of mankind' three years ago, it still called on its followers
to stick to it.

By doing so, it actually put itself on the opposite side
of the world's people, including the entire Chinese population.

It will speed up the process of its demise."

After CCP's 18th National Congress, on one hand, the regime
has actively promoted anti-corruption and economic reform,
and on the other, it has constantly criticized constitutional
democracy and universal values via the media.

The notice issued by the Central Organization Department
was regarded by the outside world as yet another new round
of signal of "Political Conservative," following the "Seven
Don't Mentions" advocated by Xi Jinping last year,
and the repeated criticisms of "historical nihilism,"
"constitutional democracy" and "universal values,"
via the media such as Seeking Truth magazine,
and People's Daily.

Former Prime Minister Wen Jiabao once publicly stated
in the international media that he recognizes universal values.

Some analysts wonder that if the continuous reveal
of ideological signals is an indicator of the intense power
struggle within the CCP.
