Hong Kong Scholar: Occupy Movement Has Two Victories

December 11, a large number of Hong Kong police totally
evicted the occupied area in Admiralty.

209 demonstrators accepted arrestment during their peaceful
sit-ins to complete the last step of civil disobedience.

Around 9pm, the 75 days Occupy movement came to close with
the arrestment of the Hong Kong Federation of Students (HKFS) Secretary-General Zhou Yongkang,

Scholarism member Li Wenluo and Hong Kong Labour
Party Leader Lee Cheuk-yan, etc.

According to the British BBC’s Chinese website:

the Hong Kong political commentator Liu Ruishao commented
that the entire value of the occupation movement is not devalued
although it was cleared.

Liu Ruishao said that the movement has two achievements.

First of all, it is a very good civic education of a peaceful
democracy fight.

It not only educated Hong Kong people, but also the people on
both sides of the four places.

He said that he found the Hong Kong people and Taiwan people
are getting close to a democratic struggle by watching the Hong
Kong democratic activities and the Taiwan nine-in-one elections.

Meanwhile, people from Macau and mainland also believe that
the Hong Kong democracy activities are worthy of reference.

The second movement value is that the Hong Kong people are
clearer about where the problem lies.

They understand that not only is the Hong Kong Government’s
Leung Chun-ying a problem, but also Beijing is the problem.

Taiwan Legislative Yuan Called For Ending Living Organ
Harvesting

On the eve of International Human Rights Day, December 9,
Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in
Taiwan Legislative Yuan:

they called for a stop to Live Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong
practitioners in the mainland and strongly condemning the fifteen
years brutal persecution of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Taiwan Legislator Tien Chiu-chin called on the government to
arrange consultations between the government and the public,

and passed the Human Organ Transplant Regulations proposed
by the Legislative Yuan to have enough organs for the people
who are waiting for an organ transplant.

She said: "The creepiest thing for me is that people at bay will
use those transplanted organs from the black market to take
care of themselves using Taiwan health insurance.

Taiwan people are equal accomplices with the CCP for Live
Organ Harvesting."

Hatta Issued a Statement Saying - No True Freedom

Chinese political prisoner, Inner Mongolia scholar Hada, who
has been detained for 19 years, was released on December 9th.

That day, his son posted a video for him through Voice of
America saying Hada is not truly free after release.

Hada will continue to be restricted as a criminal: report regularly
his thoughts, not accept outside interviews nor contact
immediate family members.

Hada said that he was tortured during 19 years imprisonment
which disabled him; his wife and son were implicated.

Hada said he would continue to fight for his legitimate rights.

Hada was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in 1995 by the
Chinese authorities on charges of fission country crime.

He was illegally detained for four years at the end of the
sentence in 2010 in the name of 4 years deprivation of
political rights.
