Journalist Is Dismissed Due to Leaking Confidential Orders
Issued by CCP's Propaganda Department.

Mainland Internet writer and financial journalist Mr Zhang Jialong,
found himself recently dismissed from his job.

During his recent interview with US Secretary of State John Kerry,
he expressed radical words and also disclosed information,

concerning orders and instructions given by the Propaganda
Department of the Central Committee of the
Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Regarding his dismissal, Mr Zhang Jialong says,
"I knew such a day would come sooner or later."

According to Zhang Jialong's recent blog / article called,
"Explanations on my dismissal", on May 23,

Tencent Company used the excuse of "leaking commercial secrets
and other confidential and sensitive information",
to terminate his contract with them.

Mr Zhang commented that, local authorities tried
to make him silent, trying to block his "speeches of opposing the CCP and socialism".
This shows that the media under the CCP's control,
absolutely does not accept journalists
who are dissidents as well.

Chinese freelance writer Liu Yiming: "I think the excuse
of Tencent firing him, is very far-fetched and ludicrous.
This is called, if you are out to condemn somebody,
they can always trump up a charge against you.
This is just like Ms Gao Yu who was charged
with the leaking of No. 9 Document.
The real fact is , because the articles written by her exposed many
dark goings on with high-rank officials,
it is highly likely it offended many of them.
This I feel is the real reason why she was attacked
and retaliated against."

It is understood that, on Feb. 15, four famous mainland
journalists were interviewed by US Secretary of State John Kerry.

The interview was based upon the topic "China's Internet Freedom,"
the interview lasted for 40 minutes.

During the interview, Mr Zhang told Mr Kerry that he hopes
the US can help mainland people, who are eager for Internet freedom, to gather together to destroy China's Internet Great Firewall.

In addition, Zhang Jialong also denounced some US companies
who assist CCP with blocking netizens,

who wish to freely visit social media web sites
such as Facebook and Twitter etc.

Zhang Jialong says, time had barely passed after his talk with
Kerry, that the Propaganda Department issued
a prohibition order, requiring all websites to delete the relevant reports
about there meeting.

Tencent Weibo even put "Zhang Jialong"
as, 'sensitive characters'.

On May 17, his Tencent boss mentioned to him, that
its possible he will lose his job after discussions
were had between Tencent and Propaganda Team.

Zhang Jialong says: I knew such a day would come eventually,
simply because the proletariat dictatorship has no exception
to their rules, and anyone who challenges it, is usually seen as its enemy.

Liu Yiming: "Like the prior conscientious and brave journalists
such as Li Jianjun and Chen Yongzhou,
they are fundamentally incompatible with the current Chinese
news censorship and political system.
So eventually it became impossible to escape
from the fate of being squeezed away
from the official media system."

Zhang Jialong says, the reason that he was not immediately
fired in February,is that they (CCP) had considered the impact upon
Sino-American relationships and the international opinion.
Some media staff think, the reason that the Propaganda
Department chose such a time to push Tencent
to fire Zhang Jialong, might be relevant to the looming 25th Anniversary of the 64 Event.

Liu Yiming: "Why did he not receive the dismissal notice
earlier but does receive it now?
I think this might be pertinent to the incoming sensitive date.
Because a few days later, it will be 25th anniversary of 64 Event.
So the Authorities are using this tactic to scare other
journalists by dismissing Zhang Jialong
prior to the sensitive date."

Zhang Jialong also added, he managed to make public
"the secret order" of Propaganda Department
issued to Tencent,

letting the world know how China's news censorship and public
voice control is carried out.

This tears up a gap amidst the iron curtain
of the propaganda institutions,
leaving them shamed and angry.

According to Mr Zhang Jialong, the CCP's propaganda
departments often issue prohibition orders to the media,
strictly controlling the public voice
according to the reality and propaganda needs.
The prohibition orders are also regarded as
so called "confidential "and to be protected.
Hence, Tencent use "leaking commercial secrets"
as the excuse for dismissing Zhang Jialong.

Liu Yiming: "If they say to him leak the secrets,
then what he leaked is their orders,
and they belong to political secrets
rather than commercial secrets.
They use this as the mistake of Zhang Jialong
and this does not make sense.
Because these orders issued by Propaganda Department
of the CCP violates the constitution,
freedom of speech and freedom of press."

Zhang Jialong also lists a series of secret orders issued
by the Propaganda Department of the CCP.

These include: deleting the reports, relevant speech,
videos and pictures of "political topics raised by the haze,"

"Chinese enterprises in Vietnam are attacked by Vietnamese,"

"Interactive steps of Urumqi explosion case of Xinjiang",

"relevant blog articles of supporting Mr Pu Zhiqiang,"

"there are hidden facts about Li Ka-shing withdrawing
investment in Mainland."

Zhang Jialong points out, a regime who tries to cover
up the media with an iron curtain and to sever China
from the worlds voices, is hard to maintain.

Because the existence of the so-called "Truth Department"
violates freedom, human rights and international laws.
