中共喉舌《新华社》10月25号中午发表英文署名文章,点名批评多名香港富商,至今没有表态反对持续了4个星期的“占中”行动,震撼了香港政商界。香港媒体报导说,有分析表示,这篇文章立下了不良先例,与中共“文革”做法类似,要人人表态过关。
被点名批评的商人是香港长实主席李嘉诚、恒地主席李兆基、九仓主席吴光正,以及“糖王”郭鹤年。
不过,这篇文章大约晚上7点左右又被从《新华网》上删除。外界认为,这是中共的宣传和统战部门不同调的反映。
“广场投票”搁置 港抗议区仍充满活力
香港民众争取真普选的活动仍在继续,原定10月26号、27号举行的“广场投票”,在投票开始前几小时,被宣布搁置。
参与占领运动的“学联”、“学民思潮”、“和平占中”、“泛民”以及其他民间团体, 10月26号下午3点,举行记者会交代取消原因,同时就事件商议不足,向三个占领区的支持者鞠躬致歉。不过,香港学联秘书长周永康说, “它不会影响这场运动的士气。” “这个决定可以重建我们和抗议者之间的信任。抗议者一直共享一个单一的目标﹔只是他们可能对如何执行有不同的看法。”
《纽约时报》报导说,金钟区主要抗议区和旺角抗议区仍然充满活力,这里有欢庆般的演讲,表演和艺术聚会以及学生的学习区。
香港泛民议员公民党党魁梁家杰表示,希望这次搁置投票的决定,能让中共“人大常委”有所参考,认识到每一个决定都不是不可撼动的,他说:“当民情民意有节有理,面子又有多重要?”
对抗收编?胡耀邦子掌炎黄春秋
以敢言着名的北京政论杂志《炎黄春秋》,在被中共文化部收编前大换班,中共已故前总书记胡耀邦的长子胡德平出任社长,前国务院副总理陆定一的儿子陆德,任常务社长兼法定代表人。
据《自由亚洲电台》报导,这个消息是《炎黄春秋》杂志社社长杜导正,在10月24号召开的杂志社全体会议上宣布的。杜导正表示,他卸任社长后,改任名誉社长。
《炎黄春秋》创刊于1991年,主办单位是民间性质的“中华炎黄文化研究会”,因为经常刊登观点与中共官方有出入的文章,而被视为自由派刊物。今年9月传出消息说,中共当局要求文化部将杂志收编,并在60天内完成变更主管单位手续。
有分析认为,胡德平被外界视为太子党右派“精神领袖”,他赶在《炎黄春秋》被文化部收编之前出任社长, 对抗收编的意味明显。

He Deping, son of former (CCP) General Secretary Hu Yaobang,
becomes President of the Beijing political magazine
“Yan Huang Chun Qiu”, famous for its outspokenness.
This change is made before Ministry of Culture’s incorporation.
Former deputy premier's son Lu De becomes executive president
and legal representative.
According to Radio Free Asia reports, the news was announced
by magazine president Du Daozheng at the plenary meeting on
October 24th.
Du Daozheng said he would serve as honorary president after
retiring.
Yanhuang Chunqiu started in 1991 by civil organize China
Yan Huang Culture Research Association.
It’s regarded as a liberal publication because of different
opinions and articles from the official Chinese publication.
This September, it’s said that the Chinese authorities requested
the Ministry of Culture to incorporate the magazine and finish
the process within 60 days.
It’s considered that Hu Deping is widely regarded as the princeling
rightist spiritual leader.
There is obvious opposition to him to serving as president before
the incorporation.
Plaza Vote is Shelved Due to Lack Of Negotiation
Hong Kong activity for Universal Suffrage continues.
The scheduled Plaza vote on October 26th and 27th was shelved
a few hours before the vote.
The organizations including Hong Kong Federations of Students
(HKFS), Scholarism, Occupy Central with Love and Peace
(OCPL), Pan-democracy Camp, as well as other civil organizations
explained the reason for cancellation at 15:00.
They also apologized with three bows to the occupiers in three
positions due to the lack of negotiation.
Hong Kong Leader of the Civic Party Alan Leong hoped the
shelved vote decision may allow the CCP Standing Committee
to have a reference and recognize the flexibility of every
decision.
He said: "how important is saving face when public opinion is
reasonable?"
Netizens Expose the Anti-Occupy Central System as Playgame
Meanwhile, Hong Kong anti-Occupy Central major league
CHOW Yung who launched a signature campaign to “Return
Road to the People" claimed they received more than 300 thousand
signatures within one day
However, netizens exposed their signature system as child's
play; because people can sign successfully under the name "I
want election", or even use foul language.
Netizens said 1.3 billion signatures would not dream to have such
signatures.
Xinhua News Agency Criticized Hong Kong Businessman’s
No Attitude to Anti-Occupy Central
Oct. 25 noon, CCP mouthpiece Xinhua News Agency published
a signed article to criticize several businessmen for not
opposing the four week Occupy Central movement which
shocked Hong Kong business and political circles.
Hong Kong media reported that it’s analyzed the article set a bad
precedent, which is similar to the tactics of the Cultural Revolution
to urge everybody to “clarify”.
The businessmen Cheung Kong Chairman Li Ka-shing, Henderson
Land Chairman Lee Shau Kee, The Wharf Holdings Limited
Chairman Peter Woo, as well as Sugar King of Asia Robert
Kuok were criticized.
However, this article was removed at 19:00 from the Xinhua
News Agency.
It’s believed this is a different reflection from the CCP
propaganda and united front department.
