The Chinese historian, Lu Jiaping, was secretly sentenced
to 10 years in prison because of his startling article:
"Two Traitors, Two Fakes" exposing the true historical
background of Jiang Zemin.
Since then, Lu’s health has reportedly been deteriorating.

This May, many netizens from Hunan province publicly
voiced support of Lu’s release on medical parole.
Following that, many of them were taken away for “a talk”
by local state security officers.
Lu’s son says, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is
forcing everyone into a corner.
They can do nothing but resist under such circumstances.

On July 23, Hunan citizen Fu Xiang posted on Chinese social
network that he had been called in for “a talk” with
state security officers.

Fu Xiang, Hunan citizen:”I was called because I took
a photo of someone holding a slogan supporting Mr. Lu Jiaping.
I uploaded the photo to the Internet and was thus found by
state security officers in Changsha city.
I was asked who started up the activity, who took the photo
and who released the materials.”

Besides Fu Xiang, another Hunan resident Ou Biaofeng was
also called in for “a talk” on 22nd.
Ou was also interrogated mostly on Lu Jiaping’s issue.

Hunan netizens named “Zhou Zhou Zhu Zhou” and
“Xiang A-Weige” were also called for “a talk” on 24th.

Yu Haochen, son of Chinese historian Lu Jiaping:”
In the past few days, I heard other friends in Changsha were
also called in by state security officers.

The main reason is to enquire about Changsha’s slogan
activity on May 11 backing up my father’s release.
To my knowledge most participants have been called in.”

Until the night of 23rd, Yu Haochen had not been called in
by the state security department.

Yu Haochen:“There are many such slogan activities.
In most cases they (state security officers) just have
a face to face talk with you and that’s it.

However, on my father Lu Jiaping’s issue, they have been
doing that for two months. This is kind of strange.
On the other hand, they are very afraid that my father gets
more public attention, and I will continue to advocate
his release with slogans.

So another possible scenario is that they are collecting
materials against me and plan to arrest me at any time.
This is also possible.”

The 73-year-old Lu Jiaping is a member of the Chinese Research
Association of the World War II, and a strategy scholar.
In February 2004, Lu published an article exposing former
CCP leader; alleging that Jiang Zemin falsified his identity
and was involved in a scandal with mistress Song Zuying.

His article had created a public sensation.

In December 2009, Lu released an article titled “A Call for
Investigation of Jiang Zemin's 'Two Traitors, Two Fakes'
and his political scandals”.

“Two Traitors” refer to first, both Jiang and his biological
father were national traitors in the Japan-China war;
second, Jiang himself was a former KGB spy,
who gave away large territory of China to Russia.
Two Fakes—the first fake, Jiang posed himself as
an underground CCP member before 1949;
The second fake was Jiang's lie of being the adopted son
of Jiang Shangqing, a CCP's "martyr."

On May 13, 2011, Lu Jiaping was sentenced to 10 years
imprisonment in a Beijing court on the charge of
“inciting subversion of state power”.

Having been put into prison for over three years, Lu’s health
has been constantly reported to be deteriorating.
However, he has yet to be given medical parole.

Yu Haochen:“The most recent time I visited him is in May.
My father’s hair had completely turned white.
The day before yesterday (July 21), my mother got a message
from relatives of my father’s inmate that his health is pretty bad,
and we should get him out of prison for medical treatment as
soon as possible, in whatever way.
We had applied for medical parole again last year but
were blocked by Shuangqing Justice Bureau in Shaoyang.
I think they never intend to release him. They just pretend to
follow the legal procedure as a mere formality.”

Yu Haochen says, there have been more and more evidences
supporting what his father said about Jiang Zemin.
That is exactly why the CCP imprisoned him and denied
medical parole applications.
Yu himself as a musician has almost stopped his career as
he advocated for his father’s release in the past 3 years.

Yu Haochen:“In fact I am only a music producer
as an individual.
I used not to take part in those political activities, and never
made any comments.
However, the CCP keeps pushing you,
until you become a determined resister.
I think this is really stupid.

Not only have I, but many others have also become
determined rebels after being forced into a corner by the CCP.”

Yu Haochen comments that now he never believes a single
word said by the CCP.
He calls on both Chinese and foreign media to pay more
attention to Lu Jiaping, and voice support of Lu’s release
on medical parole as soon as possible.
